101. Cartman Gets an Anal Probe (Original Airdate: 8/13/97)
We meet the boys and some of their school mates in the premiere. Kyle's brother Ike is abducted, Cartman gets an anal probe, and Wendy arranges to meet Stan at Stark's Pond after school. Officer Barbrady denies that there's any weird stuff going on, but cows are being abducted, seduced by fresh hay presented by the alien visitors.

102. Weight Gain 4000 (Original Airdate: 8/27/97)
Cartman is inspired to get fit by a commercial touting Weight Gain 4000, but he doesn't exercise, so he just gets fat. He ends up the winner of the "Save Our Fragile Planet" contest, and Wendy investigates this travesty. Kathie Lee Gifford comes to town to award Cartman, but Mr. Garrison has some issues with her.

103. Volcano (Original Airdate: 8/20/97)
Jimbo and Ned take the boys camping on Mr. Evanston. It rumbles to life and the group has to scramble back to town. Cartman tells the boys of Scuzzlebutt, which frightens them at first, but they dismiss the tale after some odd descriptions of the monster. Scuzzlebutt shows up looking as strange as described and saves the group while the town tries to determine how best to get the group off the mountain.

104. Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride (Original Airdate: 9/3/97)
Stan's dog, Sparky, turns out to be gay, and runs away after overhearing Stan say he wants a butch dog. The boys practice for their game agains the Middle Park Cows. Stan misses practice and most of the game looking for his dog, and finds Big Gay Al. Sparky won't return with Stan until Stan learns a thing or two about tolerance towards homosexuals.

105. An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig (Original Airdate: 9/10/97)
The class has genetic engineering experiments to think up. The boys face off against a threesome to see who can finish first. The boys decide to cross Cartman's pig with Kyle's elephant, and get help from Chef... and Dr. Mephesto, who has many strange creations at his lab. It's at this lab that a Mutant Stan is created, and it terrorizes the town until Shelley beats him up.

106. Death (Original Airdate: 9/17/97)
Grandpa Marsh turns 102 and wants to die, so he gets Stan and his friends to try and assist him in suicide. The boys bring the issue up to Mr Garrison in class, Chef, and Jesus, but none of them would talk about it. Death shows up, but takes someone else. Meanwhile, the parents learn of Terrance and Phillip

107. Pinkeye (Original Airdate: 10/29/97)
The town comes down with a bad case of pink eye, but this pink eye turns people into zombies. Chef tries to alert the townsfolk, but no one listens. Meanwhile, Kenny, who dies early on, returns as a zombie and spreads pink eye all over town. Chef and the boys go to the mortuary to get to the bottom of this mess, and Kyle has to kill Kenny again in order for things to get back to normal.

108. Damien (Original Airdate: 2/4/98)
While Cartman plans his birthday party, Damien challenges Jesus to a fight with his father. The fight of the year, "Jesus Vs. Satan", a Pay-Per-View event like no other, takes place right in South Park and is scheduled simultaneous to Cartman's birthday party. The fight, billed as "Boutin' at the Mountain," pits the Prince of Darkness and father of Damien against Jesus, the host of "Jesus and Pals," the South Park's favorite cable access show. Kyle, Stan and Kenny decide which event to attend, the town of South Park visits the local bookie to bet on the outcome of the 320 lb. Satan v. the 135 lb. Jesus. Does good triumph over evil? You figure it out.

109. Starvin' Marvin (Original Airdate: 11/19/97)
The class takes part in a canned food drive, and the boys take that a bit further after watching a commercial for sponsoring Ethiopian children. Stan uses his mom's credit card and ends up buying an Ethiopian instead of a sponsorship. The little boy, Marvin, has to be returned, but Cartman ends up being hauled off instead. Cartman suffers in Ethiopia until he finds Sally Struther's secret stash. Eventually, he goes home after Marvin is returned.

110. Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo (Original Airdate: 12/17/97)
The kids practice for their Christmas play, but the way Kyle holds a fetus doll of Jesus provokes a discussion on how religious and denominational the play should be. Kyle offers Mr. Hankey as a non-offensive neutral symbol of Christmas, but no one believes Mr. Hankey, a piece of poo, is real. Mr. Hankey appears after the discussion deteriorates into a mass brawl, and Kyle is vindicated.

111. Tom's Rhinoplasty (Original Airdate: 2/11/98)
When Mr. Garrison decides to do a little "self improvement" at Tom's Rhinoplasty, a substitute teacher Ms. Ellen (voice of "Species" star Natasha Henstridge) takes over the class and immediately wins the affections of the entire school, including Chef. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, poor Wendy must cope with Stan's new crush and decides to take action against the hot Ms. Ellen. Meanwhile, Mr. Garrison's surgery goes better than expected resulting in a eerie resemblance to a "Baywatch" star that's a big music sensation in Germany, causing a major reaction among the women of South Park.

112. Mecha-Streisand (Original Airdate: 2/18/98)
While on a class trip, the boys find a magical amulet that can be used to create ultimate evil. As the gang prepares for battle, Leonard Maltin comes to the rescue and teams with Chef to save the boys, but it is Robert Smith of The Cure (appearing as his animated-self) who comes to battle the threatening force.

113. Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut (Original Airdate: 2/25/98)
An upcoming Father and Son picnic at South Park Elementary School causes Cartman to behave strangely. Stan, Kyle and Kenny seek advice from Mr. Garrison, while Cartman sets out to uncover the identity of his real father. When it becomes evident that just about any male in South Park with a pulse "could be" Cartman's dad (including the 1991 Denver Broncos), the boys help raise $3,000.00 for a genetic test that will prove who the real Mr. Cartman is in this special cliffhanger episode.
