entered the 4th grade in Fall 2000
He is the cute kid and leader of the pack. He is the South Park Cows' star quarterback. He gets beat up by his sister Shelley, and is under pressure from Grampa to kill him. Usually has a level head, but a visit to the hospital reveals that he has a weak stomach. He was the team captain for the South Park Cows dodgeball team, and got in trouble for delivering an embellished report on Vietnam. He also kept cool, and kept everyone else relatively calm under rather dangerous conditions when the bus was teetering on the edge of a cliff. He plays the violin. Gets chicken pox from Shelley after visiting her at the hospital (she got it first), and then helps Kyle and Cartman get back at all the parents for their plan to get them sick from chicken pox. He and Kyle escape Dr. Adams and his neuroneutralizer after trying it out on Kenny and observing the results. He and Kyle built a clubhouse so they could play Truth or Dare with Wendy and Bebe. He got in trouble for reading a note from Bebe to Kyle, in which she wrote things that sound awfully silly coming from a guy's mouth, and he is sent to Mr. Mackey, who charged him with "skylarkings." He later explains to Kyle why he didn't get to the clubhouse until late in the afternoon. Then he went to Chef for help on how to play Truth or Dare. He lost his father for a time due to divorce, and got a stepfather named Roy. Stan never got a chance to finish his dare with Wendy, since Roy had him cut some firewood. Stan is not at all happy with this arrangement, so he sets up a trap to get rid of Roy while reuniting his parents in his clubhouse. Later, when Wendy and Bebe return for more Truth or Dare, Bebe asks him to shove a stick up his peehole. During Cow Days he and Kyle had Cartman practice on a mechanical bull, and then a real one. When Cartman was in the hospital for head trauma, he determined that Cartman was still well enough to ride a bull, and so pulled him out of the hospital and into the bullring. He and the other boys raised $95 towards the $2 million Chef needed to pay a record company or Johnny Cochran. He gave Elton John some lyrics to make a song from, and Elton sang "Wake Up, Wendy" for him at Chef Aid. He got a pet fish from Aunt Flo, but it turned out to be an evil fish from a parallel universe. It killed at least five people, and Stan gave it back to Aunt Flo. It killed her, too. Stan got to see his evil parallel. Stan runs away from home in order to spend the holidays with Cartman is his grandma's house in Nebraska. He meets Kyle and Kenny at Cartman's house and they all go with Liane. He later wants to run away with Charlie Manson and Cartman's Uncle Howard, but Charlie has him reconsider. Stan gets to see the gnomes Tweek was so adamant about. He and his group present an oral report on the evils of big corporations, only to change their point of view after meeting the underpants gnomes. While rescuing Kyle he found a frozen body in a cave and called it Gorak. He and the other boys hauled it back to town, where Mephesto took it and thawed it out. He and Kyle fight over the name for the ice man. He is afraid of snakes, and didn't want to go on a tour to save the rainforest, since rainforests suck. He gets to meet Costa Rica's people's army, the Yanogapa, and some American loggers. Stan gets to be the narrator for the Stations of the Cross. After, he helps Kyle take Cartman to a hill and leave him there on the cross. He's helping Kyle get a nurection for his dad, but he gets to watch his father earn fame and shame for coming up with the unified break-wind theory of spontaneous combustion, then fame again for the unified theory of moderation. He calls Jesus on Jesus and Pals to find out how long it took for Him to die and rise again. When Cartman comes to school with dilated pupils, he, Cartman, and Kenny laugh at him. He and the others see a different chef behind the counter and set out to find why Chef quit. He and the others find out that Chef has a new girlfriend and a new job in accounting, and this horrifies him. He talks to Mr. Garrison about this, and learns that Chef is dealing with a succubus. He meets Chef's parents, and has to sit and hear their stories of the Loch Ness monster who always wants tree fitty. He and the other boys crash the wedding rehearsal dinner to finally tell Chef just whom it is he is marrying, and he throws them out of the restaurant. Finally, he and the others learn the succubus' favorite song and sing it backwards to destroy the succubus' power over Chef. When Chef returns to work at the cafeteria kitchen, he and the other boys are overjoyed. One week, the boys are sent to shop class and the girls are sent to home ec class. The shop teacher, Mr. Adler, asks the boys who's the troublemaker in class. Stan offers Tweek, Cartman offers Craig. This leads to a fight between Tweek and Craig. Stan and Kyle train Tweek to box after they find that Tweek doesn't know how to fight, then set up another fight. The second fight is called when Tweek and Craig tumble into shop class and accidentally kill Kenny. When Craig and Tweek are hospitalized after the fight, Stan, Kyle, and Cartman visit them and start another fight between them. When jakovasaurs appear in town, Stan and Kyle are wary of them, and then just sick of them. They assist the Mayor in getting rid of them. When a rash of sexual harassment lawsuits hits town, Stan loses half his stuff to Cartman, including an asthma inhaler. He, Kyle, and Cartman search for and find the Sexual Harassment Panda and convince him to help stop the sexual harassment lawsuits. During the meteor shower Stan has to spend the night with his parents at Mr. Mackey's party while his sister babysits Cartman. Stan finds three boys in the special kids' room (basement) and refuses to play with them, since they are Melvins. Boredom forces his hand, and he plays Bosley to their Angels. They find a way upstairs and watch TV. A news report alerts Stan to activity outside, and he gets the Angels to participate in a real mission: to tell the ATF outside that there's nothing cultish going on. The mission is successful, and the ATF leaves. Stan sees Kyle, and, ignoring the Melvins, they go inside to trade stories. When the Chinpokomon craze hits South Park, Stan keeps up with it, buying the toys and video game, then goes to Chinpokomon camp. There, he learn Japanese. He marches through the town with the other kids. He's about to go to Pearl Harbor to bomb it for the Japanese when the adults show up with their own toys. This snaps him out of the craze. There's much more to say, but this is enough for now.

Catch Phrase 2: Aw, crap!
DOB: October 19
Stan is based on Trey, so he is a blond... sorta. Trey often wears his hair blond, but it's actually black. Stan's hair can bee seen in "A Very Crappy Christmas." It is black.
Stan and Wendy
He has a crush on a girl named Wendy Testaburger, but he throws up every time she talks to him. Since the first show he has managed to talk to Wendy without throwing up, but now throws up on her when things get intimate between them. During the First Annual South Park Film Festival he and Wendy went to see several movies together, and his stomach got weak again. He threw up on the man in front of Wendy twice, the second time when the two cowboys onscreen began to explore their sexuality. He insisted there was no problem, though. When Stan and Wendy find each other on opposite sides during the South Park Flag case, he could only watch as Cartman made moves on her, and she eventually kissed Cartman. Stan lost Wendy to Token in "Raisins" because Stan had stopped paying attention to her. He tried to get her back, but Token was in her room with her, so that didn't work out. Stan became a Goth for a while because of it, but Butters helped him snap out of it. Stan eventully told them exactly how he felt, and it wasn't kind. Wendy and Token didn't last long as a couple. When the class had to pair up to take care of an egg for a week, Stan and Wendy were together, but then split up so Mrs. Garrison could observe how gay couples raise a child - Stan and Kyle became a gay couple, while Wendy and Bebe became a lesbian couple. Stan still hadn't gotten over Wendy dumping him, so though he was glad she was speaking to him, he wasn't about to let her have the last word. When the girls make a list of boys going from cutest to ugliest, the boys find out and get it. Kyle is at the bottom of the list, and Stan talks to Wendy about it. Stan thinks there might have been a mistake in the tally, so Wendy asks the girls for the voter cards so she could see if Kyle was indeed the ugliest boy. It turns out he wasn't. Stan and Wendy are relieved and look at each other, and he throws up on her, somethingn he hadn't done in a long while. They're ready to be a couple again.
When a new boy, Bridon, comes to school. he turns out to be a boy prone to do musicals, and Wendy responds to that really well. Stan is afraid of losing her, but probably won't, since Bridon is a third-grader. Wendy says she wouldn't leave Stan anyway, since Bridon can choose any girl he wants.
He is the smart kid. He's Jewish, he likes to make fun of Cartman being fat, and he has a football-shaped baby brother named Ike who he likes to kick. Has a pet elephant, and low tolerance for idiocy. His Jewishness keeps him from celebrating Christmas with his friends. He defended Ike from the possibility of circumcision, then forsook him after finding out he is Canadian. He didn't like the idea of anyone having a circumcision, since he thought it meant castration. Once he knew what it really is, he warmed to the idea, though he did faint when Ike got it. Got a bloody nose for badgering Pip about being French, and plotted against Uncle Jimbo for getting them in trouble with flowery stories about Vietnam. He plays the violin. Mr. Hankey came to him again to have him alert the town of what they were doing to the sewer - and Mr. Hankey's home. Kyle cried when Mr. Hankey passed out on him the first time, and Stan offered to hold and comfort him. Kyle then fell when Wendy asked Stan to see another film with her, and Stan let him go. He is the most resistant to chicken pox, but finally succumbs. He ended up being the only student not to get chicken pox, for a while, and drew comfort in knowing that though he was the only student in class, everyone was to get homework, sick or not. He and Stan escape Dr. Adams and his neuroneutralizer after trying it out on Kenny and observing the results. He and Stan built a clubhouse so they could play Truth or Dare with Wendy and Bebe. Wendy dared him to kiss Bebe on the lips, which he does, but immediately he ran out of the clubhouse in disgust. He becomes a reluctant partner to Bebe, only to hear her say that she wants some time apart. He doesn't care. When the carnival came to town for Cow Days, he attacked Cartman because Cartman had squandered their money. He made Cartman ride a bull in order to win $5000 and guarantee that they would win Terrance and Phillip dolls. Kyle figured out that the games were fixed, and so called Shenanigans on the carnival people twice. He and the other boys raised $95 towards the $2 million Chef needed to pay a record company or Johnny Cochran. Kyle got to see his evil parallel. Kyle joins the boys to Cartman's Grandma's house, but learns that Mr. Hankey will be appearing at the Mall of Nebraska, so he presses Cartman to ask Uncle Stinky to take the boys to the mall. The boys find another way there, and Kyle quickly realizes that the mall Hankey is way too big to be the real one, so Kyle exposes him. A riot follows, and Kyle is angry that people are willing to impersonate Mr. Hankey, and is sure Mr. Hankey would feel the same way. During meals he has to hold Great-Grandma's catheter bag, and is grossed out by the urine that has to go in it. He gets to see the gnomes Tweek was so adamant about. He and his group present an oral report on the evils of big corporations, only to change their point of view after meeting the underpants gnomes. He tumbled down into a cave. While Stan rescued him, he saw a frozen body in a cave and called it Steve. He and the other boys hauled it back to town, where Mephesto took it and thawed it out. He and Stan fight over the name for the ice man. Though he can sing, he doesn't have any rhythm; he can't dance. He gets mad at Cartman for pointing that out, but Stan gives him the benefit of the doubt. He's surprised that Kelly brought Kenny back to life with CPR. He gets to meet Costa Rica's people's army, the Yanogapa, and some American loggers. His father is having a hard time getting an erection, so when Kyle learns of the Stations of the Cross and Jesus' resurrection, he assumes that if he and Kyle perform the Stations he could get an urection and pass it to his dad. With Cartman as Jesus, he was counting on getting the urection on the Sunday after Good Friday, but Cartman didn't die. His father came up with his own solution, so Kyle forgot about the urection. One week, he and the other boys go to shop class instead of regular class. During class he and Stan try to get Tweek and Craig to fight afterschool, but neither boy knows how to fight, so he and Stan take him to Big Gym to learn to box from Jimbo. The day of the next fight comes, but it is called due to tumbling into the shop class and killing Kenny. Tweek and Craig are hospitalized, and the boys stop by to offer sympathy… and start another fight between Craig and Tweek. When jakovasaurs appear in town, he and Stan are wary of them, and then just sick of them. They assist the Mayor in getting rid of them. When a rash of sexual harassment lawsuits hits town, Kyle moves from house to house, each one bigger than the last, each time his father wins a sexual harassment lawsuit against the schools. He's not happy about it, so he, Stan, and Cartman search for and find the Sexual Harassment Panda and convince him to help stop the sexual harassment lawsuits. During the meteor shower, he goes to Jewbilee with Kenny and Ike. Ike goes to Squirts while Kyle and Kenny go to Scouts. Kyle has to introduce Kenny as a Jew, so he offers McHeinenberg as Kenny's last name. He stands by Kenny when Moses appears and discerns that Kenny is not kosher. He becomes a hostage when Haman herds everybody into a cabin and locks them in. He and the others are set free by the Squirts. He sees Kenny hit a conch shell with his head and die as the shell splits open and sets Moses free. He is brought to the meteor shower party after the meteor shower and tells Stan everything he went through. When the Chinpokomon craze hits South Park, Kyle is totally out of the loop. At first, he doesn't understand what all the fuss is about, but seeing that his friends are into it makes him want to keep up. He buys the toys and the game controller, but does so just as they go out of style. He jumps at the chance to go to Chinpokomon camp with the other boys. There, he learn Japanese. He marches through the town with the other kids. He's about to go to Pearl Harbor to bomb it for the Japanese when the adults show up with their own toys. He doesn't realize that the craze is over, so he's about to take off. Stan stops him just in time.
Catch Phrase 1: Kick the baby!
Catch Phrase 2: You Bastard!
DOB: May 26
Kyle is based on Matt and his childhood, so Kyle is a brunet with curls, like van Gelder in "Roger Ebert Must Lay Off The Fatty Foods". Notice also the similarity between him and Humphrey in Cannibal! The Musical
He is the fat kid the other kids constantly make fun of. He claims that he's "big boned," but his 90 pounds, (big for an eight-year old) is due to eating too many cheesy poofs, snacky cakes, chocolate-chip cookies, powdered-doughnut pancake surprises, and whatever else his mom decides to cook up for him. He'll take insults in stride, but if you get him the wrong gift, prepare to have your ass whupped. He can fly off the handle. He has had an anal probe up his ass and the Triangle of Zinthar in his right shoe, and a rude shock when he finds out who his father actually is. Since then, he has been a deputy. As such, he used his authority whenever he could, even to the point of subduing Kenny's family when he answered a domestic disturbance call. Has dressed up as a slut for undercover work, and as an old lady as part of a plot to ruin Jimbo and Ned's show. For the summer, he took swimming lessons, but just couldn't get used to swimming in urine-stained pool water (who would?). He plays the French horn. Has once again suffered for being fat: the boys teased him about having an ass big enough to project movies on. He entered a contract with a director to make a movie about Mr. Hankey, but was angry when he saw Tam Hanks cast in the movie, and really angry when he only got $3 out of the $2 million the film had made. He decided to sell T-shirts promoting the film, and made more money that way. Gets chicken pox from Kenny, and didn't waste any time making use of calomine lotion - lots of it! When he sees a commercial for Cheesy Poofs tryouts he goes for it, even if he has to stay away from the classroom and the planeetarium. He had an itchy nose the whole time. He and Kenny built a clubhouse to rival Stan and Kyle's. What's more, he bought a kit to build it from: The Ewok Village 2000 Deluxe Club House Kit w/Elevator. The resulting clubhouse looked just awful. He becomes the foreman and makes Kenny the worker, then he becomes the worker and sends Kenny out to find chicks. He holds conversations with two teenage runaway girls unitl two guys arrive and his mom calls him down for the night. During Cow Days, Cartman and the boys tried to win Terrance and Phillip dolls, but they lost all their money. Cartman was forced to ride a bull for the $5000 grand prize, but while practicing a pracrice bull kicked him off and he passed out. When he came to, he acted like a Vietnamese prostitute named Ming Li. As Ming Li, he rode the bull and won the prize. He dressed as a German boy to cheer Chef up and as part of Chef Aid. He and the other boys raised $95 towards the $2 million Chef needed to pay a record company or Johnny Cochran. Cartman's evil parallel was actually a good Cartman, and the others took to him much better than to the Cartman they know. Still, parallel Cartman at first shocked the boys by his good manners and concern for people less fortunate than himself. Eventually, the two Cartmans face off and Stan has to determine which one to send back to the parallel universe. He goes to his grandma's house and takes his friends with him. Before they leave, he tries to get Kenny out of the front seat by various means, until he throws out a dollar bill, which Kenny goes after. We learn that he gets his trademark statements from most of his family and that his hair is a ligh brown. He's not very happy at the kind of role model Uncle Howard turned out to be. When he and the boys spend time at Tweek's house to prepare an oral report, he throws up from all the coffee he drank to stay awake. He helped Stan rescue Kyle, but was chosen best friend by each of them when they fight over the ice man's name. He likes an certain Aussie hunter, and imitates him when he can. He is not pleased that he has to go on a Save the Rain Forest tour. He's dismayed that the Costa Ricans are so poor, so he screams at them to get jobs. He says that San José smells like ass, beats on monkeys and sloths, and goes his own way through the rainforest. He finds some American loggers, who help him find his friends and the choir they're with. As Easter approaches he lobbies to be Jesus in the reenactment of the Stations of the Cross, so he is crucified and taken up to a hill to hang on the cross for three days. In it for Kyle is an urection that he can give to his father. But four weeks later, the boys remember that he is still on the cross, and he is now as thin as Starvin' Marvin. On another occasion, his sight is failing him, so he sees an optometrist for help. He gets some blocky glasses stapled to his head, then gets laser-corrective surgery, at Chef's suggestion, that makes his sight worse. During his recovery, the boys study up at his place on ways to get rid of Veronica, keeping him up all night. During Chef's wedding, Cartman can't help but sleep, and Kyle has to wake him up a couple of times so he'll be ready to press the play button at the right time. After Kenny dies, he takes Kenny's head to his optometrist for some eye transplants. When he and the other boys go to shop class for a week, Mr. Adler asks them who is the worst troublemaker in class. He offers Craig while Stan offers Tweek. A fight is set up to see who is the toughest kid in school, but neither Craig and Tweek knows how to fight, so Cartman takes Craig and trains him with a martial-arts instructor. Cartman dresses as a sumo to be Craig's opponent. He then brings Craig to the next fight, and Craig and Tweek tumble into shop class, where the fight is called due to Kenny's death. Craig and Tweek, and some of the class visits them to talk… and to begin another fight. When jakovasaurs appear in town, he takes a liking to them instantly and even holds their offspring in his arms. When the town makes up its mind to get rid of the jakovasaurs, the boys distract Cartman by taking him to classify a new species of antelope. Cartman realizes this and rushes back to town, only to see the jakovasaurs on a jet plane on its way out of town. When a rash of sexual harassment lawsuits hits town, he accuses Stan of sexually harassing him, then sues him. He wins half of Stan's stuff, including an asthma inhaler. Pip then sues Cartman for sexual harassment and Cartmanloses half his stuff to Pip. He's not happy about it, so he, Stan, and Kyle search for and find the Sexual Harassment Panda and convince him to help stop the sexual harassment lawsuits. During the meteor shower, he is babyat by Shelley, Stan's older sister. They engage in a battle of wills until Skyler, Shelley's boyfriend, comes over and eventually dumps her for not putting out. Then, Cartman offers to help her get even with Skyler. He sets up some fake recordings to lure Skyler away so that Shelley can destroy Skyler's guitar. They finish and run back to Cartman's house only to find it a big mess due to some cats. Skyler reaches them and threatnes them, so Cartman threw some catnip on him and the cats mauled him. Cartman's mom returns home from the meteor shower party before he and Shelley have a chance to clean up, and passes out. Now they can take their time and reflect on their new friendship. When the Chinpokomon craze hits South Park, Cartman wants to be the first to buy the toys, but finds that Stan and Kenny already knew. He keeps up with the craze by buying the toys and video game, then goes to Chinpokomon camp. There, he learn Japanese. He marches through the town with the other kids. He's about to go to Pearl Harbor to bomb it for the Japanese when the adults show up with their own toys. This snaps him out of the craze. Cartman has since made a teenager eat his parents and sung "Heat of the Moment" to Congress, tried to clone fetus cells to build a replica Shakey's next to an existing one and become a junior detective on his own and had the other boys work for him.
Eric Theodore Cartman
Catch Phrase: Respect My Authroitah!
DOB: July 1
Kyle is the first kid to have called Cartman "Eric" (Jimmy is the second one, Butters is the third) and Ms. Ellen the only adult to have called Eric "Cartman."
Cartman is most like Archie Bunker (All in the Family). His last name come from Matt Karpman, friend of Matt and Trey.
He is the unlucky one. He dies in every episode in some gruesome way. If your hearing is fine-tuned, you may be able to make out what he says. He did survive Christmas last year, and has finally died for a purpose when he became the connector between two nodes in Hell's Pass Hospital's backup generator. He has been: run over by cows and a police car, shot by Mr. Garrison, shot bu Ned's gun, pulled apart by Middle Park Cowboys, nuked by the Marshes' microwave oven, touched by Death, crushed by Mir and later sawed in half by Kyle, shot by Jimbo, jumped by turkeys, run through by a scimitar, hung by a tetherball, obliterated by a train, electrocuted by a hospital's backup generator, crushed by a tree, crushed by a tombstone, smashed by a dodgeball, pulled apart by Jesus and Pals audience members, eaten by a black scary monster (in Stan's dream of Cartman's dream), crushed by bleachers, run over by an exiting crowd of moviegoers, shocked by a vital-stats monitor, neural-neutralized to bits, crushed by a mosh pit attack, gored by a bull, bit in half by Ozzy Osbourne, chewed up by Stan's spooky fish, shot to bits by an army of Nebraska police officers, crushed by a falling mine car, crushed by a moving sidewalk going under a landing, struck by lightning (but Kelly resuscitates him), killed by spontaneous combustion, crushed by a succubus, slung onto a box of nails by a band saw, killed by a brown bear, chopped to bits by a giant fan, killed by a conch shell, eaten from the inside by rats, attacked by tiny speeders, beaten to death by the Fonics monkey… All his deaths can be found here, as well as stuff he says in each episode. He is resurrected for every episode.
He plays the violin. He and Shelley were the first to get sick from chicken pox, and the one to infect his friends with it, at their parents' urging. He and Cartman built a clubhouse to rival Stan and Kyle's. He is made to work, pull carpeting from Cartman's living room, wait for a hot tub, and look for girls to play Truth or Dare with. During Cow Days he was sent to find Cartman when Cartman was nowhere to be found, and asked to help Cartman in the bullriding ring. He provides the squash the boys used to win the grand prize at the pumpkin-carving contest. He and the other boys raised $95 towards the $2 million Chef needed to pay a record company or Johnny Cochran. Charlie spent some time with him trying to explain himself. When he is drafted to join the Getting Gay With Kids choir on a tour of Costa Rica to save the rainforest, he meets and falls in love with Kelly, a blonde with a ponytail. He gets to meet Costa Rica's people's army, the Yanogapa, and some American loggers. He and Kelly spend the tour getting to know each other, and he comes to her aid several times. He shields her from bullets headed their eay. He planned to visit her on the day he spontaneously combusted. He received a nice funeral service, including a coffin for his charred remains. He comes up with a way for the boys to sing "A Morning After" backwards in order to rescue Chef from Veronica, the succubus. When the boys go to shop class for the week, he goes to home ec with the girls. He helps Cartman train Craig somehow, but he spends most of the week in home ec. He is later transferred because he doesn't make a convincing girl, but he protests the move. It didn't help. He is the distraction Cartman was to classify as a new species, and goes to find the Sexual Harassment Panda with the other boys. During Jewbilee he is banished from Jew Scouts for being unkosher. He sees what Haman has done and goes to get some help, but fails. A big brown bear carries him away to her cave, where he finds all the Squirts. He marshals them back to camp so they can free the Scouts and the elders while he tries to stop Haman. The bear gives him the Conch of Blind Faith, and Kenny breaks it with his head. When the Chinpokomon craze hits South Park, Kenny keeps up with it by buying the toys and video game. The game gives him a seizure, which makes him catatonic until the rats spilled out of him. Still, he goes to Chinpokomon camp with the other boys. There, he learn Japanese. He marches through the town with the other kids. He's about to go to Pearl Harbor to bomb it for the Japanese when the adults show up with their own toys. This snaps him out of the craze.
Much has happened to Kenny since the last sentence above, but he finally dies of a terminal muscular disease while Cartman tried to get stem cell research approved so Kenny might get some stem cells to help him recover from this disease. When Cartman came back with the good news, he finds Kenny gone. And that's the last of Kenny for the show, unless Trey and Matt bring him back somehow. The town square is now called the Kenny McCormick Memorial Town Square, which is a pretty major indication that Kenny is dead for good and the town knows it.
Since the paragraph above, Kenny returned after Cartman drank his ashes - he began to act and talk through Cartman. He made a brief appearnace for Christmas after being exorcised from Cartman. He's back as a regular now, but he doesn't die. Butters and Tweek are more integrated with the group now, so Kenny doesn't have much to say. In Season 12 he got a whole episode to himself, where he cheeses and begins to hallucinate about being in a tit world with a beautiful woman, then has to fight Gerald, Kyle's father, for the girl.
Catch Phrase: Mmmff mmf mmmffff!
DOB: March 22
DOD: almost weekly, but ceased after "Kenny Dies"
Butters is one of the kids, like Token, who hasn't said a word until the third season, although he was a part of Stan's team during dodgeball practice. Butters tends to think faster than he talks, so he stammers quite a bit and tends to chatter. He has a hint of Southern accent and a rather logical mind. There's a bit of the Catholic in him, as well. He's probably "Butters" for the buttery color of his hair. He dresses as Kelly Garrett when he, Pip, and Dougie decide to play Charlie's Angels. He doesn't understand why the adults begin behaving the way they do at a party (they get drunk), and tries to get them to their senses. When Stan gets the Angels to make an exclusive video about the meteor shower party, Butters cues Dougie and then delivers the tape to the reporter outside. When Mark, the home-schooled kid, comes to school, Butters plays a part in duct-taping him to a bench, and scolds him for being such a know-it-all. He shows up on the Confederate side when the citizens of South Park reenact the Civil War, but is easily bought by Stan for $10. When Kyle falls sick from failing kidneys, Butters is made up as a human telegram, with carboard sign and balloons, and sent to cheer Kyle up. Butters had to take one for the team when the boys ended up joining NAMBLA and the men made advances to the boys. We learn Butters can't whistle if he eats too many crackers and that he finds a few things "all sticky." From SPStudios we learn that Butters was originally called Puff-Puff. In the fifth season, he plays a dramatic role in a battle between the boys and girls in the great dispute over condom use. We learn that he has a goofy enough face in school pictures to embarrass his parents into making him wear a paper bag over his head. Butters comes to hate his face. Later, we learn his father is almost as perverted as Mr. Garrison, and a closet homosexual. His mother, upon learning of her husband's activities outside the home, snaps and attempts to kill Butters by having him drown in a car, which doesn't work. He survives, but isn't so sure about his parents after learning what they actually tried to do to him. In season six he finally joins the other thrr boys as a lead, which explains the move to this page. He's made to get fat in order to show that anyone could do what Jared did for Subway, only for another restaurant. Butters does get fat, but doesn't lose it as easily as one might expect. He gets an emergency liposuction, but is grounded when his parents find him alone with the equipment. Cartman fills in for him so he can make a commercial for City Wok, but talks smack with Butters' parents as they call in. Butters returns. Butters is punished severely for talking back to them over the phone when they return home. When the families go to Aspen for a weekend of skiing, Cartman spends his time Hitlering Butters. Butters' fate as a lead character is threatened when the boys reject him as a replacement for Kenny and try out other boys as replacements. Butters retaliates by becoming Professor Chaos. His goals are lofty, his efforts inevitably puny. The boys have chosen the boy they will spend the rest of their childhoods with, and Professor Chaos goes full circle. Butters ends up with the first grader he was with back in "Two Guys Naked In A Hot Tub." Butters gets a few episodes as Professor Chaos, but rreturns with renewed vigor when he sees what he thinks is The Fellowship of the Ring and enjoys it a bit too much. He pursues the boys as they take the video and decide to return it to Two Towers video store. He grabs it and keeps it close as Kyle throws him and the tape down the night deposit box. He soon has an older self which Stan finds out about, as Stan has one as well. He and Stan investigate the older selves and find them to be actors hired to keep them from getting into drugs. He appears briefly as Professor Chaos. His role is expanding, but he's not yet again one of the four.
His first name is revealed as Leopold when the police look for him in "Casa Bonita," after he fails to come home the night Eric locks him away in a bomb shelter. He soon falls in love with Lexus, a girl who works at Raisins, a restaurant much like Hooters. He pursues her relentlessly until she realizes that he's serious about her. She doesn't feel that way about him, so she puts the brakes on his pursuit. Later, he helps Stan get over Wendy by sharing his own pain and admitting he'd rather be a wuss than a Goth. In season 12 he was a Vamp for a short while, but didn't find the culture to his liking. Clamato juice turned him off to it.
Leopold "Butters" Stotch
Butters is based on Eric Stough, whose nickname is Butters.
For one episode, Butters was called Swanson. Here are a snippet from the official "Conjoined Fetus Lady" script and two pictures to show how Butters was Swanson
And so you see Swanson wasn't the one hit, nor was it the kid who followed Jordan out. So that kid is Swanson. He became Butters in "Two Men Naked In A Hot Tub" and became Butters Stotch in "Butters' Very Own Episode." But for "Conjoined Fetus Lady" he was indeed Swanson.
JORDAN, SWANSON, PULL FORWARD!! WE NEED BACKUP!!!
Jordan and Swanson take obediently take their spots.
The B team player again hurls the ball.
SMACK!! It nails Jordan in the stomach, sending him backwards into the wall.
Tweek is addicted to caffeine, and without it he is jittery. He also has a thing about underpants gnomes, who steal his underwear in the very early morn. No one believes him, until he has the boys over for the night. The boys learn that Tweek was right about the gnomes, and learn about corporations from them. Tweek is hesitant at first to fight Craig, since they had no reason to fight, but eventually trains with Jimbo and Ned to box, and then fights Craig to a draw. Both are injured and end up at Hell's Pass Hospital. The class visits them, and the boys incite yet another brawl between them. Tweek loses to Mr. Mackey in a sexual harassment lawsuit for commenting on the shape of his ass. When Mark, the home-schooled kid, comes to South Park Elementary, Tweek plays a part in duct-taping him to a bench. Twice. When terrorism strikes the U.S. Tweek proves to be a fatalist, always thinking people are after him. When Stan, Kyle, and Cartman tire of having Butters as their friend, they hold a casting call for a new fourth friend. They start with 20 boys and work their way down to one: Tweek. He helped in creating the See People aquarium and got over his nervousness in order to face Spielberg and Lucas down. He has receded a bit, saying a line when the boys were dressed as Lord of the Ring characters gathered in council. He still appears with the other four or five once in a while.
Some stuff about the four
If you use the cutoff date of September 1 by which all kids have to be 8 to enter 3rd grade, or 9 to enter 4th grade, then the four boys turn 9 during 3rd grade, and 10 during 4th grade. Given their birthdays in 3rd grade, the boys turn nine in this order:
Stan - October 19
Kenny - March 22
Kyle - May 26
Cartman - July 1
If Cartman's birthday is February 4 instead of July 1, the dates are
Stan - October 19
Cartman - February 4
Kenny - March 22
Kyle - May 26
Stan is thus the oldest of the four boys. Whether Kyle or Cartman is the youngest depends on when you believe Cartman's birthday falls. Cartman's is the only birthday we've seen so far (except for Jesus' and Grandpa Marsh's).
